I had a delightful experience at this wonderful spot! The ambiance of the cozy pub was immediately inviting, and the staff were exceptionally accommodating when my colleague was delayed for check-in. Every morning, I enjoyed a full English breakfast that was simply perfect, served at times that suited me.

Check-in chaos started at 5pm, which left some frustration while waiting for access. The room situation was awkward—having a door leading to hot water tanks made it feel less secure. Fire doors in the room didn't close properly, which was a concern for safety. The lack of a printed breakfast menu led to confusion, with guests having to ask what was available. Lastly, a coffee order went missing during breakfast, which contributed to the slow service overall.

Comfortable rooms and a charming atmosphere. Enjoyed my time here chatting with fellow guests and sampling local drinks.

I had a lovely stay at The Six Bells. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, and my Deluxe Double Room was comfortable, with tea and coffee provided. Breakfast was freshly cooked and a real treat, definitely not to be missed.

Staying at The Six Bells felt like joining a family. The team, especially Una, Nigel, and Luke, made me feel welcome right from the start. The location is serene, nestled in a quiet area with easy access to local attractions. My room, cozy and consistently prepared for my needs, was a delight to come back to after work. The included breakfast was a real treat—plentiful and freshly cooked, a perfect way to start the day. One minor hitch though—some areas could use a little upkeep, like the frosted glass in the bathroom for privacy. The kettle had limescale, which was a bit off-putting. While the breakfast hours (7am, 8am) were too early for my schedule, I appreciated having such tasty options available. I felt the dining options could be clearer, especially on menu offerings. a printed menu would have helped, as I didn’t know what was available until I asked. Despite these minor inconveniences, the overall experience was delightful, and I’d certainly recommend this charming place. I will miss the friendly ambiance here!

The breakfast was a highlight, thanks to chef Luke who served up delicious options. Our room was small but clean with a comfy bed that made for a good night's sleep. it was unfortunate that the pub closed early, leaving us to find dinner elsewhere. the temperature in the bar could have used some improvement to make it cozier.
